Production Times

All orders are handmade by me (I’m Arwen, by the way. Hi!). Hopscotch doesn’t have a factory, nothing is outsourced and I will be cutting the fabric for your order on my kitchen table while my kids run around or nap. Making your order by hand takes time but I strive to get all orders out as quickly possible.

All of our items are Made to Order, unless marked Ready to Ship in the listing title.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Made to Order items are processed in the order they are received, and processing times normally run at approximately 2 weeks prior to dispatch. If you’re in a hurry you may want to consider placing a Rush Order to bump your order to the top of the queue.
  • Ready to Ship items will be dispatched on the next scheduled post office run (normally 2-3 times per week).
  • Felt Crowns ordered on their own are normally dispatched within 5 days.

If there are any unexpected delays with your order I will contact you to let you know. Please ensure the email you use to place your order is monitored.


We offer a number of shipping methods within Australia depending on your needs:

  • $4 Untracked Letter Post (for single item orders only). Please note that letter post is untracked and tracking updates are not able to be obtained once items are shipped.
  • $7.50 flat rate for tracked Parcel Service (Australia Post or courier depending on your location).
  • $10 for tracked Express Post within Australian metro areas (Australia Post). Please note that this upgrade only affects your shipping method. If you require a faster processing time as well please look into placing a Rush Order.
  • FREE SHIPPING is available for all Australian orders over $70. Items will be sent via a tracked parcel service (Australia Post or courier depending on your location).
  • New members of the Hopscotch Gang get free shipping with their next order.  Orders placed using this free shipping code will be sent using the most economical method.

You will receive an email when your order is shipped including tracking details if applicable. Please keep these handy for checking on your order.

Once a parcel has been shipped we are unable to guarantee delivery by a specific date, but if you need your order by a specific date please let us know and we will do our best to make sure it gets to you on time.

Approximate delivery times* are as follows;

NSW: 2-6 Business days

QLD & VIC: 5-6 Business days

SA: 6-7 Business days

WA & NT: 7-10 Business days

International: 10-21 Business days

*These times are from when your items are dispatched, and are only an estimate.  Actual delivery time depends on the carrier workload and seasonal fluctuations, ie. Christmas.

International Orders

At this time we are not able to ship to Canada or the USA. However, we do ship to all other countries world-wide.

International customers agree to take responsibility for any customs or duty-related charges associated with their country and for corresponding with their local customs office if required. Express Postage methods are also available to select countries. Please contact us for a quote if an upgrade is not offered at checkout.

Unclaimed Parcels

Please make sure your details are correct at checkout. The address and email you provide are used when dispatching your order.

If your parcel is unclaimed it will be sent back to us and we will contact you when it is received. We are happy to resend returned parcels, but please note that postage costs (including any return fee) are the responsibility of the customer and must be paid before the parcel is re-shipped.

Returns & Exchanges

Please choose carefully as we do not offer exchanges or refunds if you simply change your mind. Exchanges are also not available for sale items.

In the unlikely event that there is a fault with your product we will happily replace it, including return postage.

If you have ordered the wrong size, we will gladly exchange your item provided these conditions are met:

  • You must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your parcel.
  • Postage back to us, and postage for the new product is at your own expense.
  • The product must be received in its original condition – unworn, unsoiled, unwashed and with any tags and packaging attached. Your item will be inspected to ensure it is able to be resold prior to an exchange being issued.


All pricing appears in Australian dollars and is subject to change without notice. Prices do not include GST.


Your privacy is important to us. All information collected is used only by Hopscotch Baby for the purpose of processing and shipping your order. Your telephone number is requested at checkout to ensure that your contact details are included on your parcel in the unlikely event of a delivery error.

We will never give out or sell your information to a third party, or record any transaction details.

Payment is required at the time of ordering via Credit Card (Stripe), Paypal, Afterpay or direct bank deposit. Payment details are private, and are only held by the institution processing the sale on our behalf. Checkout pages are secure and encrypted via SSL.

Hopscotch Baby is not responsible for any costs associating with bank fees or fluctuating exchange rates.
